What is Gil Gang?

This is a question, that comes up pretty often, whether it´s on the Guilded Official community server, reddit, Twitter and/or other platforms.

To get a somewhat clear answer to this, I´ll try to explain it in the best way I can.

Gil Gang is a special members group within Guilded Official community.

Members of the Gil Gang are Ambassadors and fans that are dedicated to and for the Guilded platform. Mostly we are here to help and guide new (and old) users with the platform, help spredding to good word of Guilded and also beeing active within the community.

How do you get in to Gil Gang?

The Gil Gang program was revamped in the beginning of August 2022 and with the revamp, things changed alot and the revamp was most welcomed.

Before the revamp, a Gil Gang member was handpicked with the option to recommend someone in the Gil Gang server.

With the new revamp, you can now apply for Gil Gang.

(When applying, please note, that not everyone´s application will be accepted.)

And Gil Gang members will still be able to recommend new Gil Gang recruits in the Gil Gang server.

What are the requirements to be a Gil Gang member?

There are no requirements to my knowledge. The only thing that might help you advance to Gil Gang is to be nice and welcoming to new users, helpful, active within the community and have a dedication for the Guilded platform.
